Celebrated our anniversary with a cozy cottage on the river for 2 nights. Cottage was clean and cozy with gorgeous views of the river. Enjoyed the beautiful property and cafe. Highly recommend the wood fired pizza and specialty coffee drinks. Our cottage was the perfect place to come home to relax after a thrilling day of white water rafting with Six River Rafting Co. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Strawhouse Resort has quickly become one of our most favorite trips of the year! We have come 3 years in a row, in July, to celebrate our anniversary. The cabins are spotlessly clean, well maintained, and very well appointed, not any one of them very far from the river access. The designated and private river spot can’t be beat with your own sitting chairs and beach access only for guests. And the pizza on the weekends is fresh, delicious and right there! No need to cook or leave the premises! The entire package provides for us an incredibly relaxing, safe, clean and reliable place to unwind and connect. The hosts Don and Julia are attentive, responsive and very invested in their guests having a good experience. They have become part of the reason the resort is such a great place for us! 5 stars all around!

Stopped here on our way to Bigfoot world of Willowcreek. The menu is little different than I’m used too , but the sandwich I had was really good. The scenery and the atmosphere of the whole area is worth a 5 star review.

Did not rent a room. Stopped by on the way to the coast, did some fishing and was interested in this place. Ordered the Trinity bagel; it was delicious! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice with beautiful views.

We stayed at the Strawhouse in Cottage 26 and had a lovely experience. Check-in and communication were clear and easy, and we were touched by the sweet personalized welcome note. The cottage was warm, cozy, and well-equipped with all the kitchenware we needed. Though we only stayed one night on a winter trip, it would also make a perfect summer getaway with the river nearby.

Beautiful place, great food and coffee! We stayed in a cottage on the river, and the view was fantastic. Owners made us a wonderful dinner, and delivered it to our cottage! Plan on going back in the summer, and doing some rafting, and enjoying the deck.

The strawhouse Cafe is very relaxing. Awesome to see a place in a rural setting with local art, great food and coffee. The grounds are very pretty and extremely well kept. Cheers to the owners for the true strawhouse build that you can verify through glass windows in the house! We actually bought a piece of the local art, too.
